Project Controls
The BV project manager will oversee all aspects of the energy project, including managing the EPC contractor's schedules, budgets, and deliverables, as well as coordinating with contractors, vendors, and the client to ensure the project is executed within the established terms, budget, and timeline. They will also be responsible for managing project documentation, providing financial oversight and approvals, and evaluating contract changes.

Contract Administration
As a project manager BV can help ensure adherence to contractual obligations, keeping the project on track in terms of scope, quality, and schedule. This includes coordination with the EPC contractor, as well as other owner contractors and their respective subcontractors and invitees. The BV project manager will review and approve the construction milestones as defined in the EPC contract.

Permitting Support
BV is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with the owner's permits. This includes making sure the EPC contractor obtains all the necessary construction permits required to conduct its work activities, such as the stormwater prevention pollution plan (SWPPP) submittal and Notices of Intent and Termination.

Safety
A BV project manager will review the contractor's safety plan and monitor the EPC contractor's safety performance. This includes ensuring the contractor's safety practices and programs align with the project's safety manuals and adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Additionally, BV benchmarks the contractor's safety performance against industry trends and averages to identify areas for improvement.
