Apr. 10 2024 - Deanna Bourassa

REVISED STANDARD GUIDE PROVIDES A BASELINE PROCESS FOR CONDUCTING PROPERTY CONDITION ASSESSMENTS ON COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES.

The E2018-24 PCA guide provides a baseline process for consultants to conduct walk-through surveys and research of commercial properties to identify and communicate material physical deficiencies to a user. The new E2018-24 standard guide includes more than 140 revisions and replaces the E2018-15 guide, which was published in August 2015. Users are encouraged to adopt E2018-24 immediately and can contact Bureau Veritas for implementation assistance.

The ASTM E2018-24 standard serves as a comprehensive framework for conducting Property Condition Assessments on commercial real estate properties. Its primary objective is to ensure thorough evaluations through a combination of walk-through surveys and research methodologies outlined within the guide.
