Oxygenates in LPG/NGL Product

12.17.21

Producers of fuel or chemical feedstock must manage oxygenate levels by limiting the addition of these chemicals or reducing/removing them by extraction in a regeneration plant. These plants are designed to efficiently and effectively remove oxygenates, typically methanol. However, these plants' size and cost depend on the expected levels of contamination. By minimizing the amount of oxygenates introduced into the entire system, both producers and marketers can save money, but to do this, the streams must be monitored by proper sampling and measuring. Learn about the unique solution developed by Bureau Veritas to properly monitor for oxygenates.
