Asset Integrity Management Solution

Bureau Veritas’s Asset Integrity Management (AIM) solution ensure the ability of an asset performing its required function effectively and efficiently, while safeguarding life and the environment.  Management activities ensure that the people, systems, processes and resources which deliver integrity, are in place, in use, and fit for purpose over the whole lifecycle of the asset.

Key Benefits of Asset Integrity Management:

  • Safety improvement
  • Reliability improvement
  • Optimization of maintenance and inspection activities to meet safety and business targets

Bureau Veritas’ AIM programs are designed with adherence to industry standards and regulations. Our team of AIM experts will focus on industry best practices and cost-saving AIM techniques that have been proven successful. Our risk-based methodologies are focused to evaluate the risk criticality of the asset, which helps to identify the highly critical equipment and recommend actions to mitigate the criticality of the equipment.

Asset Integrity Management Services deliver complete insight into your operations.

AIM Services:

Asset Criticality Analysis:
Quantify the financial risk of operating of each equipment of your plant with an asset criticality analysis.  Our experts will risk screen to identify critical areas of concern and identify gaps that need to be considered for improvement based on the Client’s current AIM program. Utilizing a unique approach, our Asset Criticality Analysis will monetize a plants technical risks.  Our reliability performance is a powerful tool that enables clients to identify critical areas of concern based on the impact of unavailability and loss of production risks—helping to manage assets more efficiently.

Failure Modes Effects Analysis:
Safety is a priority, and protecting people and the environment is number one.  The failure modes effects analysis identifies safeguards and risk mitigations through a risk screening process that considers each mode of failure for every component of a system and determines local effects and effects on systems operation. Our team works in compliance with international and local industry standards, and has detailed experience in conducting workshops, carrying out desktop analysis, and managing FMECA processes.

Risk Based Inspection:
Our risk-based inspection (RBI) service helps to mitigate costly unplanned shutdowns by ensuring facilities, equipment, and processes are safe and reliable.  RBI is a process that identifies, assesses, and maps industrial risks that can compromise equipment integrity in both pressurized equipment and structural elements—providing protection from major industrial hazards.  Bureau Veritas has specialized engineers that design inspection strategies to efficiently match forecasted or observed degradation mechanisms through proper inspections and analysis.

Reliability Centered Maintenance:
Optimize maintenance planning for rotating mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, valves, and vent and flare systems with Bureau Veritas’ reliability centered maintenance (RCM).  After an RCM analysis, a team will develop a maintenance strategy in accordance with AIM goals.

Safety Integrity Level:
A safety integrity level analysis will help you demonstrate reliability and availability of the safety of instrumented system (SIS).  Based on technical and methodological expertise, our team will evaluate the need and the relevance of a safety instrumented system in relation to your facility, equipment, product, or the process involved. In addition, we will implement a series of inspection and audits to assess the SIS reliability, availability, and safety integrity level.  Through the design stage to operation stage, and throughout the development, production, installation, startup, and maintenance stages of the SIS, our team ensures operations are in compliance to international standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, ISO 26262, ISA84.01-2004, IEC 62061, ISO 13849, CENELEC 50126, 50128 & 50129.
